A three week course for witches and writers of all levels and abilities! This course aims to show you how you can use divination, astrology and dream work to transform your creative work. We will utilise Tarot, pendulums, star charts and guided meditation to bring out the nuances of your characters, steer their stories and even release writers block. This course is designed to be taken in a block of three monthly meetings, as there will be homework and elements of accountability as a group. However, if you wish to join for a single session, you are welcome to sign up for a single module. Session 1- Everything from a basic overview of the using Tarot; to storyboarding and 'playing God' using Tarot cards. We will also learn to work with a pendulum and a die for pathfinding and decision making. All materials will be provided aside from a notebook, a decent pen and a bottle of water. Session 2 - Fleshing out worlds and characters by consulting the stars! This session looks at building personality with natal charts, examining your own a little and looking at seasonal influences on your work through the wheel of the year. A time of birth would be useful but not essential at all. Session 3 - Finer details and working on the author. This month we will look at the tough questions of influence and the subconscious, with a brief herbal guide for inspiration and some exercises to help you to access the deep recesses of your imagination through dreams.
